Pop-Up Pottery

Join us for a unique and hands-on Pop-Up Pottery Event! Whether you're a seasoned ceramic artist or a complete beginner, this is your chance to experience the magic of clay in a fun and creative environment.

We will be at the Saturday Art Market at Big Ole Park. We are going to start with diving right in to low-fire earthenware. One will have to commit to attend three different Art Markets due to the firing process. (Prefferably 3 in a row) The process we will have to do is as follows:
Week 1. Hand build, or throw on the wheel your project (no plates). I will bring home to fire.
Week 2. Come and underglaze your projects. I will bring home to fire
Week 3. Come and pick up your finished project.

Note: These projects will be food safe, but hand wash only.
Another note: All kids must be accompanied by an adult who will have to sign a liability waiver.
Yet Another Note: throwing pottery on the wheel is a very safe and fun activity, but the wheel does move. We use safe tools to work with the clay, with the only sharp object being a small needle.
