The Premier Potter is an immersive, month-long pottery program designed for artists who want to grow their skills and experience what it’s like to truly work in a professional studio. You’ll receive personalized instruction while exploring both foundational and advanced ceramic techniques. Participants receive 12 hours of direct instruction across 8 flexible sessions, blending guided lessons with supported studio time. You’ll learn wheel throwing, hand building, two stage throwing, trimming, glazing, other finishing techniques, kiln loading, clay recycling, and how to plan and complete multi-step projects with confidence. $20,000+ in professional studio tools and equipmentUp to 50 lbs of clay included. Single Project Pottery Class
Perfect for beginners or anyone who wants to make something great without committing to a full class. In this guided, two-session experience, you’ll choose a project—such as a mug, bowl, vase, or small sculpture—and I’ll walk you through each step to ensure it turns out beautifully.This class focuses less on in-depth pottery education and more on hands-on help, so your piece has the best chance of success. I’ll assist with shaping, techniques, structure, and finishing so you can relax, create, and enjoy the process.

Beginner Pottery Classes
Start your clay journey with a hands-on introduction to the fundamental skills every potter needs. In this beginner-friendly class, you’ll learn how to hand-build using the classic pinch, coil, and slab techniques, as well as how to score and slipfor strong, lasting connections. You’ll also get time on the pottery wheel, learning how to center clay, form basic shapes, and use essential clay tools with confidence.As you progress, you’ll explore timing, drying stages, and trimming, gaining an understanding of how to work with clay from start to finish.You’re free to create any project you’d like, though beginners are encouraged to avoid plates (they love to crack!). Whether you choose a mug, bowl, vase, sculpture, or something completely your own, you’ll be supported every step of the way.This class is the first step on the road to becoming an independent, experienced potter—building skills, creativity, and confidence with every session.

Glass Fusing Classes
Basic - 4 Small Glass Pendant Class
Learn how to safely cut and layer glass, then fuse it together to create striking patterns and effects. In this hands-on class, students will design and assemble their own fused glass pieces, choosing from a wide variety of colors and glass types. Finished pieces can be transformed into pendants or necklaces, making this a fun and creative introduction to glass fusing.
$59- 4 small pendant sized projects - can make into necklaces, earrings or keep as is.

Advanced- Glass Slumping
Create a one-of-a-kind glass piece using the art of kiln-formed glass. In this hands-on class, students will learn the basics of glass slumping—designing, layering, and firing glass as it melts into molds to form functional or decorative pieces. All materials and firings are included. Leave with a finished glass piece and the knowledge to explore this versatile medium with confidence.
